Jack McCarthy

Managing Partner & Founder

Jack McCarthy is a Managing Partner and Founder of Alvarez & Marsal Capital. Mr. McCarthy has over 30 years of experience in making private equity investments and working with management teams to achieve operational and financial goals. From 2005-2010, Mr. McCarthy was a Managing Director, Founder and Co-National Practice Leader of Alvarez & Marsal’s Private Equity Advisory Group, which serves both private equity sponsors and select strategic investors.  From September 2008 to February 2010, Mr. McCarthy served on assignment as Head of Private Equity & Principal Investments for Lehman Brothers Holdings with overall responsibility for the estate’s private equity partnerships, direct equity investments and stakes in third-party private equity / hedge funds, in total amounting in excess of $15 billion in invested capital.

From 1996-2005, Mr. McCarthy was a Partner of BA Capital Partners Europe, Bank of America’s European focused middle-market private equity partnership which invested more than $1 billion in over 35 investments across three funds.  Prior to joining Bank of America’s Private Equity group, Mr. McCarthy was with Bank America Securities (1993-1995) and Continental Bank NA (1991-1993), where he focused on corporate finance advisory and equity/debt capital raising mandates.

Mr. McCarthy holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BSBA with concentrations in finance and accounting from Central Michigan University. He currently serves on the boards of BrightPet Nutrition Group, GS Foods, PetWise, Inc., The Arcticom Group, the Institute for the Study of War in Washington DC, VTG, and a board observer of ProAmpac.  Mr. McCarthy is a member of the Polsky Center Private Equity Council at The University of Chicago and is on the advisory board of The Journal of Private Equity.

Mark Kelly

Managing Partner

Before founding A&M Capital Europe in 2017, Mark was a Managing Director & Partner with H.I.G. Capital, a €60 billion global private equity fund. Mark headed H.I.G.’s LBO office in Chicago and was a founding member of H.I.G. Europe.

Before H.I.G., Mark was the COO of Brakes Group, Europe’s largest foodservice company, and CEO of Pauley’s Foods.

Previously, he was with Hg Capital and Bain & Company’s private equity group in San Francisco and London. Mark began his career with the Smurfit Kappa Group in Dublin, Ireland.

Mark is Chairman of Ayesa and Bollé Brands and a Director of IBG, La Patria, Pet Network International, Carton Pack, and GBUK.

Mark is an Irish national with an MBA from Harvard University and received a BSc (Hons.) and an MA from Trinity College Dublin. Mark speaks English and French and has substantial board-level experience in France, Benelux, Italy, Spain, Ireland and the UK.

Rob Redmond

Managing Partner

Rob Redmond is the Managing Partner of the A&M Capital Strategic Investments Fund. 

Prior to joining the A&M Capital team, Mr. Redmond was Executive Chairman of Macquarie Capital (USA). He previously served as Chairman and CEO of the U.S. advisory and merchant banking business where he oversaw an on-balance sheet funded direct investment business of over $2 billion. 

Mr Redmond joined Macquarie Capital from Barclays Capital, where he held the title of Vice Chairman. Prior to this, he was Vice Chairman of Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc. and Chairman of the firm’s Global Financial Sponsor coverage business. 

Mr. Redmond holds a BA in Economics from Lafayette College and received his MBA degree from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. He currently serves as an emeritus member of the Johnson Graduate School of Management Advisory Board.

Tom Clayton

Partner, Healthcare

Tom Clayton is a Partner of A&M Capital focusing on the healthcare industry. Mr. Clayton brings more than 20 years of private equity experience investing in healthcare companies. Other areas of industry focus have included media, telecom, energy services and energy technology.

Mr. Clayton’s investment experience spans the entire healthcare industry including services, clinical products, outsourcing, distribution and information technology. He has experience investing across the capital structure and in various transaction types including buyouts, growth capital, highly structured transactions, and venture capital. Areas of particular focus have included hospitals, post-acute care, management services organizations, DME, specialty distribution, medical devices, pharmaceutical manufacturer and service providers, and healthcare information technology.

Mr. Clayton started his career at Morgan Stanley’s Princes Gate Fund, a $1.6 billion private equity fund where he focused predominantly on minority investments and structured financings in the healthcare, energy, media and telecommunications sectors.

Mr. Clayton is currently a director of PatientCare EMS Solutions, United Musculoskeletal Partners (“UMP”), and Med-Metrix.

Mr. Clayton received a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and a Juris Doctorate from The Yale Law School.

Sean Epps

Partner

Sean Epps has over 25 years of private equity experience working with growth oriented middle market companies. Throughout his career, Sean has focused on making investments in a number of industrial and business services sectors including specialty distribution, industrial services and niche manufacturing sectors. Prior to joining AMCO, Sean was a partner at Snow Phipps, where he worked from 2005 through 2017 and was a principal with J.P. Morgan Partners from 1999 to 2005. Earlier in his career, Sean was an associate with Paribas Principal Partners and an analyst with Chase Manhattan’s Merchant Banking Group. He has served on the boards of directors of over a dozen companies over the course of his career, including Electric Guard Dog, Kele, Service Champ, ArrMaz Custom Chemicals, Chromalox, Brand Scaffolding and Stauber Performance Ingredients.

In 1991, Sean graduated cum laude with a BA from Hamilton College with honors in economics and earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in 1997.

Joachim Ogland

Partner

Prior to joining A&M Capital Europe, Joachim was a Senior Partner with BC Partners LLP, a €17 billion private equity fund which has completed 99 transactions with total enterprise value of €121 billion in Europe and North America. At BC Partners, Joachim was head of the Nordic region and co-head of TMT in Europe, co-led several investments, and served as Chairman and Director on numerous boards.

Prior to BC Partners, Joachim was part of the European team of Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, the private equity arm of Morgan Stanley, evaluating growth and LBO investments across Europe. Previously, Mr. Ogland worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company in Oslo, advising clients in TMT and financial services on strategy and organizational improvements.

Joachim is currently Chairman of STOK, and currently a Director of Pet Network International and Bollé Brands.

Joachim is a Norwegian national and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor in Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Joachim speaks Norwegian and German and has substantial board level experience in the Nordics, UK and Spain.

Charles Grimm

Partner

Before joining A&M Capital Europe, Charles was a Principal with CCMP Capital, a €3 billion private equity fund formerly known as J.P. Morgan Partners. Charles was based in London and focused on pan-European investments.

Prior to CCMP Capital, Charles was an Associate at Merrill Lynch’s investment banking team in Paris, France.

In aggregate, Charles has 21 years private equity investing and investment banking experience.

Charles is currently a Director of Bollé Brands, Ayesa, IBG, and GBUK. He was previously a Director of La Patria.

Charles is a French national and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin (magna cum laude).

Charles speaks English and French and has substantial board-level experience in Germany, Spain, France, Italy and the UK.

Robert Haisch

Partner

Rob Haisch is a Partner with A&M Capital. Since 2001, Mr. Haisch has led or co-led the execution of numerous middle-market transactions across a variety of structures, including leveraged buyouts, mergers, corporate carve-outs, family / founder capital solutions, buy and builds, leveraged recapitalizations and growth equity investments. His primary areas of industry focus have included healthcare services, environmental services, business services and transportation / logistics.

From 2008 to 2014, Mr. Haisch was a Principal with Charterhouse Equity Partners, a private equity firm with a focus on leveraged buyout investments in the middle-market. Prior to joining Charterhouse, Mr. Haisch was a Senior Associate at North Castle Partners from 2004 to 2008, where he was involved in the sourcing, evaluation, execution and monitoring of leveraged buyout transactions across a variety of industries. He began his career in the Syndicated and Leveraged Finance Investment Banking group of J.P. Morgan Securities.

Mr. Haisch was formerly a director of Organix Recycling and is currently a director of Med-Metrix, Nevada Heart & Vascular, United Musculoskeletal Partners (“UMP”), PatientCare EMS and Talus Payments.

Mr. Haisch holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.

Alessandro Luongo

Partner

Prior to joining A&M Capital Europe, Alessandro was a Partner at Investindustrial, where he was responsible for the origination, execution and monitoring of majority equity investments across Europe.

Prior to Investindustrial, Alessandro spent 11 years at TowerBrook Capital Partners in London and New York.

In aggregate, Alessandro has over 19 years of private equity and investment banking experience and he has been a main board director of several Investindustrial and TowerBrook investments in the business services, healthcare, consumer and industrial sectors.

Alessandro is currently Chairman of Carton Pack, and a Director of Ayesa and La Patria.

Alessandro is an Italian citizen and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. He is fluent in Italian, English and Spanish.

Ryan McCarthy

Partner

Ryan McCarthy is a Partner of A&M Capital. He has spent the last 22 years helping middle-market companies navigate various forms of growth, transition or inflection, including as an owner, investor, operator and management consultant. As an investor, Mr. McCarthy has led numerous transaction structures including family / founder capital solutions, corporate carveouts, buy and builds, middle market buy-outs, special situations, structured solutions and debt investments. He enjoys helping companies undergoing a transformation (from growth to turnaround), by partnering with management teams and bringing the tools of A&M to achieve their long-term goals and potential.

Previously, he was a Co-founder and Senior Portfolio Manager of Highview Capital. He led, built and managed all facets of the firm’s investment activities including strategy, investment criteria, team build out, sourcing, investment committee processes, deal execution and structuring, board creation, key transformational portfolio initiatives and strategic plan development. Highview Capital is a $500M middle market fund based in Los Angeles that takes a long-term view on companies undergoing a transformation. He previously led and served on the Boards of American Plastics, GS Foods, National Fire & Safety, and Firstlight Media.

Prior to co-founding Highview, Ryan spent nine years helping build Aurora Resurgence, Aurora Capital Group’s value-oriented private equity fund, as a Founding Member, Partner and Member of the Investment Committee. At Resurgence, Ryan executed buy-out, corporate carve-out and turnaround transactions in the U.S. and Europe across a variety of industries, including consumer, industrials, business services, transportation and logistics. He previously served on the Boards of SIRVA, ALLTUB, International Cookware (Pyrex), Lexington Precision and Tops Parking.

Ryan previously spent more than eight years with Alvarez & Marsal. Ryan was the first analyst ever hired at A&M in 1999, when the company was in its infancy, and eventually rose to the rank of Senior Director. As part of his advisory role at A&M, he served as a management consultant and as interim COO, CFO and Treasurer to over 10 companies.

Ryan holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University.

Alex Nivelle

Partner

Alex Nivelle is a Partner of A&M Capital.  Mr. Nivelle has led the execution of numerous middle-market transactions across a variety of structures, including leveraged buyouts, mergers, corporate carve-outs, family / founder capital solutions, buy and builds, leveraged recapitalizations and growth equity investments. His primary areas of industry focus include business and tech-enabled services, human capital management and government services.

Prior to joining A&M Capital in 2009, Mr. Nivelle was an investment professional with Warburg Pincus, a New York-based private equity fund, where he focused on investments in the business services, media and technology sectors. Prior to that, Mr. Nivelle worked for DLJ Merchant Banking Partners, also a New York-based private equity fund, where he focused on executing leveraged buyouts across a range of industries. He began his career in the Media and Telecommunications Investment Banking group of Credit Suisse First Boston.

Mr. Nivelle was formerly a director of Gabriel Brothers, Inc., Centerra Services, LLC, ettain group and CNSI and a board observer of ProAmpac. He is a director of INSPYR Solutions, MPLT Healthcare, VTG and a board observer of Allied Universal.

Mr. Nivelle holds an AB in politics, magna cum laude, from Princeton University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

David Perskie

Partner

David Perskie is a Partner of A&M Capital. Since 1997, Mr. Perskie has led or co-led the execution of numerous middle-market transactions across a variety of structures including leveraged buyouts, mergers, public-to-private acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations and growth equity investments. His primary areas of industry focus have included facility and industrial services, specialty distribution, infrastructure services, marketing services, manufacturing, and consumer products and services.

Prior to joining A&M Capital in 2011, Mr. Perskie was a Principal with PCG Capital Partners, a private equity firm with $1.0 billion of assets under management with a focus on late-stage growth equity investments in the middle-market. Before that, Mr. Perskie was a Vice President in the Consumer & Retail Group at Gryphon Investors from 2001 to 2007, where he was involved in the sourcing, evaluation, execution and monitoring of leveraged buyout transactions in a variety of industries within the consumer sector. From 1999 to 2001, Mr. Perskie was an Associate at American Industrial Partners, where he evaluated leveraged buyout opportunities within the manufacturing and industrial services landscape. Mr. Perskie began his career at Interlaken Capital (now Atlas Holdings), where he executed growth equity and leveraged buyout investments across multiple industries.

Mr. Perskie was formerly a director of WHC Energy Services, LLC, Gabriel Brothers, Inc., PureStar Linen Group, and Pritchard Brady Holdings and is currently a director of Talus Payments, and The Arcticom Group.

Mr. Perskie received a Bachelor of Science in Economics, cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Thomas Slater

Partner

Thomas Slater is a Partner of the A&M Capital Strategic Investments Fund.

Prior to joining the A&M Capital team, Mr. Slater was a Senior Portfolio Manager of APG Asset Management US Inc., a subsidiary of Netherlands-based APG (All Pensions Group), a Dutch pension capital investor and services company. 

Previously, Mr. Slater was a Principal with The Rhône Group, a middle market private equity firm investing over €2 billion of committed equity capital in trans-Atlantic or pan-European businesses, and an Associate with Metalmark Capital, a middle market private equity firm based in New York. Mr. Slater started his career in the investment banking and corporate banking divisions of Merrill Lynch and Brown Brothers Harriman & Company focusing on M&A as well as debt and equity issuance underwriting. 

Mr. Slater has an MBA with honors in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. cum laude in History and French from Amherst College.

Clayton Cole

Managing Director

Clayton S. Cole is a Managing Director of AMCO. Mr. Cole has over 15 years of industry experience and thirteen years of investing in lower middle-market private businesses. Mr. Cole has partnered with founders and management teams to collaborate on numerous lower middle-market transactions across a variety of structures, including family / founder capital solutions, growth equity investments, buy and builds, and leveraged recapitalizations. His primary areas of industry focus include business and tech-enabled services and information technology services.

Prior to joining AMCO in 2017, Mr. Cole was a Principal that focused on control and minority investments in growth oriented businesses at General Catalyst Partners. While at General Catalyst, Mr. Cole served as a Director of CLEAResult Consulting, an energy efficiency services organization, and observer for Envoy Global, a global workforce management platform that provides immigration solutions. Before joining General Catalyst, Mr. Cole spent three years as an Associate at H.I.G. Capital. He began his career at Stephens Inc. as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Group.

Mr. Cole was formerly a director of Champion ONE and Crash Champions. He is a director of Heartland Business Systems.

Mr. Cole received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with a minor in General Business from the University of Arkansas.

Adam S. Fuchs

Managing Director

Adam Fuchs is a Managing Director with A&M Capital. His primary areas of industry focus have included manufacturing, consumer products, specialty distribution and business services. Mr. Fuchs has experience investing across a variety of structures, including leveraged buyouts, mergers, growth equity investments and special situations.

Previously, Mr. Fuchs was a Vice President at KPS Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity fund with $13.5 billion of capital under management, making controlling equity investments in manufacturing and industrial companies across a diverse array of industries, including basic materials, branded consumer, healthcare and luxury products, automotive parts, capital equipment and general manufacturing. Prior to that, Mr. Fuchs worked for Huron Consulting where he focused on turnarounds in the manufacturing and distribution sectors.

Mr. Fuchs was formerly a director of Pritchard Brady Holdings, is currently a director of BrightPet Nutrition Group and PetWise, Inc., and is currently a board observer of GS Foods Group.

Mr. Fuchs holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Farmer School of Business at Miami University.

Paolo Ferrari

Senior Director

Before joining A&M Capital Europe, Paolo was an Associate Director with Temasek in London and focused on pan-European investments across a range of sectors, including consumer, technology and business services.

Prior to Temasek, Paolo was an Associate at Change Capital, a mid-market specialist consumer and retail investor. Prior to that, Paolo was an analyst in Citigroup TMT investment banking division.

Paolo has over 13 years private equity investing and investment banking experience.

Paolo is currently Chairman of Pet Network International and La Patria, and a Director of IBG and STOK.

Paolo is Italian and holds a CEMS Master International Management jointly issued by Bocconi university and the Rotterdam School of Management.

Paolo speaks English and Italian and has board-level experience in Italy, France and the UK.

Kenneth Lee

Principal

Kenneth Lee is a Principal at AMCO. Mr. Lee has approximately seven years of industry experience, including four years in middle-market private equity investing. Mr. Lee has worked across a range of industries, including: industrials, manufacturing, business services and healthcare services.

Prior to joining AMCO, Mr. Lee was an Associate at Nautic Partners, a middle-market private equity firm with over $4.2 billion in assets managed that focused on making investments in growing and differentiated companies in the manufacturing, industrials, business services and healthcare industries. While there, he participated in the execution of four platform acquisitions. Mr. Lee began his career as an analyst in the Diversified Industrials group at Macquarie Capital.

Mr. Lee received a Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, in Finance and General Accounting from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.

Matt Rhone

Principal

Matt Rhone is a Principal with A&M Capital Partners.

Previously, Mr. Rhone worked at Tailwind Capital Partners, a New York-based middle market private equity firm, where he focused on investments in business services, industrial and healthcare sectors. Prior to that, he worked at Jefferies & Co. in the Investment Banking Division’s Global Industrials group.

Mr. Rhone is currently a director for Med-Metrix and The Arcticom Group.

Todd Rubin

Principal

Todd Rubin is a Principal of A&M Capital Partners.

Previously, Mr. Rubin worked at Trilantic Capital Partners, a New York-based middle market private equity firm, where he focused on the consumer, business services and industrial sectors. Prior to that, he worked at Barclays Capital in the Investment Banking Division’s Global Industrials group.

Mr. Rubin was formerly a director of ettain group and PureStar Linen Group. He is currently a director of INSPYR Solutions, MPLT Healthcare, and VTG.

Mr. Rubin graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics from the Wharton School.

Alex Sacripanti

Principal

Alex Sacripanti is a Principal of A&M Capital Partners.

Prior to joining A&M Capital Partners, Mr. Sacripanti worked at Credit Suisse Securities in the Leveraged Finance group where he was responsible for the underwriting and execution of syndicated bank loan and high yield financings across sponsor led LBO and corporate M&A transactions. Prior to that, Mr. Sacripanti was an Investment Analyst at GAMCO Investors focused on special situation opportunities. Mr. Sacripanti began his career in the Investment Banking Division of Lazard as a member of the Global Restructuring Group.

Mr. Sacripanti is currently a director of TalusPay and a board observer of United Musculoskeletal Partners (“UMP”).

Mr. Sacripanti holds a BA in Economics from Connecticut College and an MBA from Cornell University.

Fernando Matesanz

Director

Prior to joining A&M Capital Europe, Fernando worked at Citigroup’s Industrials Investment Banking group, where he executed a number of M&A and capital markets transactions. Fernando has 8 years of private equity investing and investment banking experience.

Fernando is currently a Director of Ayesa and supports Bollé Brands.

Fernando is a Spanish national and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from ESADE Business School. Fernando speaks English, Spanish, and Catalan and has board-level experience in Spain and France.

Stefan Miesner

Director

Before joining A&M Capital Europe, Stefan was a Principal with Onex Partners in London and focused on pan-European investments across a range of sectors, including industrials and business services.  

Prior to Onex Partners, Stefan was an Associate in the M&A team of Barclays’ investment banking division.  

In aggregate, Stefan has 12 years of private equity investing and investment banking experience. 

Stefan is currently a Director of GBUK.

Stefan is a German national and holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.  

Stefan is fluent in English and German and has board-level experience in the UK.

Jeffrey Legunn

Vice President

Jeffrey Legunn is a Vice President of the A&M Capital Strategic Investments Fund. Prior to joining the A&M Capital team, he was an Associate Director on the Private Equity Co-Investments team at LGT Capital Partners (USA), a subsidiary of LGT Capital Partners, a Switzerland based alternative investment management services company. Mr. Legunn joined LGT in 2017 where he evaluated co-investment opportunities for three direct equity investment funds with $3.5 billion of committed equity capital, in addition to other funds that selectively pursued co-investments. He was directly involved in committing $650 million of equity across a variety of industries, investment theses and market segments. Prior to joining LGT, Mr. Legunn was an Associate at Barclays in the Leveraged Finance group covering the Industrials sector.

Mr. Legunn holds a B.A. in Economics from Wesleyan University, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Tommy McThenia

Vice President

Tommy McThenia is a Vice President of A&M Capital Partners.

Prior to joining A&M Capital, Mr. McThenia worked at MSouth Equity Partners, an Atlanta-based middle-market private equity firm, where he focused on investments across business services, industrial and healthcare sectors. Mr. McThenia also previously worked at Harris Williams in the Consumer Group.

Mr. McThenia was previously a director of Magnolia Wash Holdings and a board observer of Crom, EQI, Frontier Derm Partners, Tachyon, and USA TV.

Mr. McThenia received a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics, Cum Laude, from Washington and Lee University.

Mason Nyhoff

Vice President

Mason Nyhoff is a Vice President of the A&M Capital Strategic Investments Fund. Prior to joining the A&M Capital team, Mr. Nyhoff was a Senior Associate of APG Asset Management US Inc., a subsidiary of Netherlands-based APG (All Pensions Group), a Dutch pension capital investor and services company. Mr. Nyhoff joined APG in 2017 where he directly evaluated over €4 billion in co-investment opportunities and was involved in committing ~€800 million in equity across all industries, investment theses and market segments. Prior to joining APG, he was an Analyst at HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. Mr. Nyhoff holds a B.S. in Finance from Emory University – Goizueta Business School.

Jimmy O’Brien

Vice President

Jimmy O’Brien is a Vice President of A&M Capital Partners.

Previously, Mr. O’Brien worked in the Leveraged Finance group at Jefferies, where he focused on structuring and executing leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, and other debt financings across a range of industries.

Mr. O’Brien graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a BA in Political Science.

Jarret Rutstein

Vice President

Jarret Rutstein is a Vice President with A&M Capital Partners.

Prior to rejoining A&M Capital Partners in 2022, Mr. Rutstein worked at Angeles Equity Partners, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, where he focused on control-oriented investments across a wide range of Industrial sub-sectors. Mr. Rutstein was previously an Associate at A&M Capital Partners and began his career in the Healthcare Investment Banking group of Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Mr. Rutstein holds a Master of Finance degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA in Political Economy from Tulane University.

Lucas Zheng

Vice President

Lucas Zheng is a Vice President of A&M Capital Partners.

Previously, Mr. Zheng worked at Barclays in the Technology and Global Industrials groups where he advised clients on a variety of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and debt financings.

Mr. Zheng was formerly a director of ettain group. He is currently a director of INSPYR Solutions, MPLT Healthcare, and VTG.

Mr. Zheng graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in Economics and a minor in Business Institutions.

Emilien Arnold

Associate Director

Prior to joining A&M Capital Europe, Emilien was an Analyst in the Healthcare Group at Barclays Investment Bank. During his time at Barclays, he worked on the execution of various M&A and financing transactions with a focus on healthcare services.

Emilien currently supports Pet Network International, Carton Pack, and GBUK.

Emilien is a French national and graduated from McGill University with a BCom, followed by a Master’s degree in finance from HEC Paris.

Savan Shah

Associate Director

Prior to joining A&M Capital Europe, Savan was an Associate in the Consumer & Retail Investment Banking team at Jefferies, where he executed several M&A and capital markets transactions across a variety of subsectors.

Savan currently supports Ayesa, Pet Network International and IBG.

Savan is a British national and holds a First Class BSc in Economics from the University of Warwick.

Jesper Steffensen

Associate Director

Prior to joining A&M Capital Europe, Jesper held private equity investing roles in London where he focused on pan-European investments within the industrials and tech-enabled services sectors.

Previously, Jesper was an Investment Manager with Kirk Kapital in Copenhagen. Prior to that, he worked with the Boston Consulting Group in Scandinavia and the US and in the FIG M&A team at Merrill Lynch in London.

In aggregate, Jesper has over 10 years of private equity investing, management consulting and investment banking experience.

Jesper is currently a Director of STOK.

Jesper is a Danish national and holds a Master in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School with further executive education from INSEAD.

Jesper is fluent in Danish and English and has board-level experience in the Nordics, the Netherlands and the UK.

Corbin Bagenstose

Senior Associate

Corbin Bagenstose is a Senior Associate of A&M Capital Partners.

Previously, Mr. Bagenstose worked at Caltius Equity Partners, a Los Angeles-based lower middle market private equity firm, where he focused on the business services, consumer, and industrial sectors. Prior to that, he worked at Harris Williams & Co. in the Healthcare & Life Sciences group where he focused on sell-side M&A advisory.

Mr. Bagenstose graduated from the University of Virginia with an MS in Commerce and a BA in Biology and Spanish.

Matthew Bird

Senior Associate

Matthew Bird is a Senior Associate of the A&M Capital Strategic Investments Fund.

Prior to joining the A&M Capital team, Mr. Bird was with TRS Advisors, the Restructuring Group of Piper Sandler, where he advised clients on a variety of complex transactions including restructurings, recapitalizations and liability management transactions.

Mr. Bird holds a B.A. with Honors in the College of Social Studies from Wesleyan University.

Simon Amat

Associate

Simon Amat is an Associate of A&M Capital Partners. 

Previously, Mr. Amat worked in the Business Services and Industrials groups at Stifel where he advised clients on a variety of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and capital raises.

Mr. Amat graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Economics and Spanish.

Robert Edwards

Associate

Robert Edwards is an Associate of A&M Capital Partners.

Previously, Mr. Edwards worked at Piper Sandler in the Diversified Industrials and Business Services Group where he advised clients on a variety of transactions including mergers & acquisitions and debt financings. Mr. Edwards graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BSBA from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business.

William Fawcett

Associate

Prior to joining A&M Capital Europe, William was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Houlihan Lokey European Healthcare Group in London. During his time at Houlihan Lokey he worked on M&A execution across MedTech, Healthcare Services and Outsourcing verticals. 

William currently supports Bollé Brands and GBUK.

William graduated from University of Bristol with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Economics.

Wyatt Glover

Wyatt Glover is an Associate of A&M Capital Partners.

Previously, Mr. Glover worked in the Industrials group at Guggenheim where he advised clients on a variety of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and capital raises.

Mr. Glover graduated from Williams College with a BA in Economics.

Wills Hutras

Wills Hutras is an Associate of A&M Capital Partners.

Previously, Mr. Hutras worked at Copley Equity Partners, a Boston-based lower middle market private equity firm, where he focused on originating, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities across a range of industries.

Mr. Hutras graduated from Denison University with a BA in Global Commerce and Environmental Studies.

Daniel Koch

Associate

Daniel Koch is an Associate of A&M Capital Partners.

Previously, Mr. Koch worked in the Leveraged Finance group at Deutsche Bank, where he focused on structuring and executing leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, and other debt financings across a range of industries.

Mr. Koch graduated from Princeton University with a BA in History.

Carlo Leone

Associate

Prior to joining A&M Capital Europe, Carlo was an Investment Banking Analyst in the EMEA M&A Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London, where he executed a number of M&A transactions.  

Carlo currently supports Carton Pack and La Patria.

Carlo is an Italian national and holds a Masters in Management from London Business School and a Bachelor of Science in International Finance (magna cum laude) from Bocconi University.

Grace Miller

Associate

Grace Miller is an Associate of A&M Capital Partners.

Previously, Ms. Miller worked in the Private Equity Advisory Group at Guggenheim Partners, where she advised clients on mergers and acquisitions in the Middle Market IT Services sector.

Ms. Miller graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School.

Victoire Piens

Associate

Prior to joining A&M Capital Europe, Victoire was an Associate on the OMERS Private Equity team in London, where she worked on European investments across business services, technology, and healthcare. Victoire started her career as an Investment banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs in London.

Victoire currently supports Bollé Brands and STOK.

Victoire is a French national and holds a Masters in Finance and Private Equity from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.

Adrian Roji

Associate

Adrian Roji is an Associate of the A&M Capital Strategic Investments Fund.

Prior to joining the A&M Capital team, Adrian worked at UBS Investment Bank in the Leveraged Finance & Financial Sponsors group, where he focused on structuring and executing leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, and other debt financings across a range of industries while covering several client accounts.

Adrian holds a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Data Analysis from Wesleyan University.

Adam Schadt

Senior Analyst

Adam Schadt is a Senior Analyst of the A&M Capital Strategic Investments Fund.

Prior to joining the A&M Capital team, Adam worked at UBS Investment Bank in the Financial Sponsors Group, where he covered and advised key private equity clients and arranged financing for leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, and other transactions across a range of industries.

Adam holds a B.S. in Management with Concentrations in Finance and Information Systems from the Boston College Carroll School of Management.

Aubrey Salmon

Associate

Aubrey Salmon is an Associate at AMCO and joined the firm in 2021.  Previously, Mr. Salmon was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Business Services group at Harris Williams.  While at Harris Williams, Mr. Salmon worked on the execution of various mergers & acquisitions and financing transactions with a focus on the business services sector.

Mr. Salmon received a Master of Science in Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts in History and English Literature, cum laude, from the University of Virginia.

Karan Kaul

Analyst

Prior to joining A&M Capital Europe, Karan was an Investment Banking Analyst at BNP Paribas in Paris, where he focused on project finance investments in the energy, natural resources, and infrastructure sectors. Prior to that, Karan was a Private Equity Analyst at TresVista Financial Services, where he worked with numerous large-cap and mid-market funds across US and Europe, focusing on investments in TMT and business services.

Karan currently supports GBUK.

Karan is an Indian national and holds a MSc Finance and Economics from HEC Paris and a Bachelors (Hons.) in Commerce from Delhi University.

Aleksandr Rudakov

Analyst

Prior to joining A&M Capital Europe, Alexander was a Private Equity Analyst at LetterOne Technology in London, where he focused on European investments in the Technology sector.

Alexander currently supports IBG and STOK.

Alexander is a Russian national and holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Mathematics from the University of Bath.

Samantha Thurston

Senior Executive Assistant

Samantha is a Senior Executive Assistant and Administrative Manager at A&M Capital Europe.

Prior to joining A&M Capital Europe, Samantha worked at Antin Infrastructure as a Senior Assistant to the Managing Partner.

Prior to Antin Infrastructure, Samantha gained a wealth of experience performing Office Manager and Senior Assistant roles at Summit Partners, Evans Randall and Symmetry Investments.

Stacey McDuff

Executive Assistant

Stacey is an Executive Assistant at A&M Capital Europe.

Prior to joining A&M Capital Europe, Stacey worked in various industries including luxury FMCG within the LVMH group, family-owned investments, banking and philanthropy.

Stacey holds a BA degree in Marketing from the University of the Arts, London.

Olivia Mulrooney

Executive Assistant

Olivia is an Executive Assistant at A&M Capital Europe.

Prior to joining A&M Capital Europe, Olivia worked at Castlelake, L.P. as an Executive Assistant to support the Real Assets, Specialty Finance, Capital Formation and Legal teams. 

Olivia holds an ILEX Legal Secretarial Diploma from North Kent College.

Silvia Tomarchio

Executive and Finance Assistant

Silvia is an Executive and Finance Assistant at A&M Capital Europe.

Prior to joining A&M Capital Europe, Silvia worked in London in private equity firms such as Stirling Square Capital Partners and Revetas Capital Advisors as an Administration Manager.

Silvia holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and International Management from Universita’ degli studi Internazionali di Roma, Italy.

Silvia is native Italian and also speaks English and Spanish.

Riad Uddin

IT Manager

Riad is A&M Capital Europe’s IT Manager.

Prior to joining A&M Capital Europe, Riad held a similar position at Law Business Research. Before joining Law Business Research, Riad worked in the education sector as an IT Technician.

Riad holds a BSc (Hons) in Multimedia Computing with Design for Interactive Media. He is also CompTIA hardware certified.

Michael R. Bardorf

Chief Financial Officer

Michael Bardorf is Chief Financial Officer of Alvarez & Marsal Capital, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm as well as fund accounting and reporting and assists in the areas of investor relations, fundraising and compliance. Previously, Mr. Bardorf was Chief Financial Officer at Enhanced Equity Funds, a New York based private-equity firm focused on lower-middle-market growth companies in the healthcare industry. Prior to that, Mr. Bardorf was Controller at American Securities, a leading middle-market private equity firm based in New York and Controller at FLAG Capital Management, a Connecticut-based venture capital, private equity and real assets fund-of-funds. Mr. Bardorf began his career at Ernst & Young.

Mr. Bardorf holds a BS in Accounting from Fairfield University.

Philip Barritt

Finance Director

Prior to joining A&M Capital Europe, Philip was a Manager at Coller Capital, a leading Secondaries Private Equity firm. Whilst at Coller Capital, Philip managed the day-to-day finance operations of Coller Capital’s active funds and was also responsible for structuring financing facilities.

Before joining Coller Capital, Philip was an auditor in the Investment Management division of PwC, London. Philip was responsible for auditing a range of private equity, venture capital and mutual funds.

Philip holds a BSc in Economics and Politics from Queen Mary, University of London, and an ACA from the ICAEW.

Michael Bourne

Controller

Michael Bourne is the Assistant Controller of A&M Capital.

Previously, Mr. Bourne was an Assurance Director in PwC’s asset and wealth management group where he audited private equity funds, hedge funds, fund-of-funds and management companies.

Mr. Bourne holds a BSBA in Accounting and Economics from Bryant University and a MS in Accounting from Fairfield University, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Dahiana Rosario

Controller

Dahiana Rosario is a Controller of A&M Capital.

Prior to joining A&M Capital, Dahiana was a Director at Blackstone responsible for buyout and mezzanine funds under the firm’s credit group. Previously, Dahiana was an Accounting Manager at Madison Dearborn Capital overseeing the accounting of the firm’s buyout and growth funds. Prior to that, Dahiana worked at PineBridge Investments and was responsible for the fund accounting and reporting of fund of funds and direct investments. Dahiana began her career working for private equity clients in fund administration. 

Dahiana holds a B.S. in Accounting from Pace University.

Lana Ostrovsky

Management Company Controller

Lana Ostrovsky is the Management Company Controller of A&M Capital, responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of the Advisor. Previously, Ms. Ostrovsky was the Management Company Controller and CFO Advisor at Prologue Capital, a Greenwich-based macro hedge fund specializing in sovereign debt and currencies with offices in London and Miami. Prior to that, Ms. Ostrovsky was the Vice President and Senior Controller for Private Equity Fund of Funds at PineBridge Investments, a global alternative asset manager based in New York, where she focused on fund of funds, Direct PE, Hedge and Real Estate products. Ms. Ostrovsky began her career as an Audit Associate at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Ms. Ostrovsky holds a BS in Accounting from NYU Stern School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Barbara Gould

General Counsel/CCO

Barbara Gould is the General Counsel and CCO of A&M Capital. Previously, Ms. Gould was the General Counsel of multiple leveraged finance platforms within GE Capital, including GE Capital Lending, GE Sponsor Finance, and GE Equity. From 1993- 2016, she held a series of legal positions within GE Capital. Ms. Gould has 30+ years of corporate finance, private equity, and securities law experience.

Ms. Gould began her career in NYC at Shearman & Sterling, a global corporate law firm, where she focused on workouts, restructurings, and complex commercial and securities litigation.

She holds a BA in Political Science from Colgate University, and a JD from St. John’s University School of law. She is admitted to practice law in New York and is an Authorized House Counsel in Connecticut.

Amanda Stewart

Managing Director – Head of Investor Relations

Amanda Stewart is a Managing Director and serves as the Global Head of Investor Relations & Fundraising for A&M Capital.

Before joining A&M Capital in 2024, Ms. Stewart was the Director of Investor Relations and Marketing at Sageview Capital, a growth equity firm focused on investing in software and tech-enabled businesses. In her role, she was responsible for all the firm’s investor relations, fundraising, and marketing activities and initiatives. Prior to Sageview Capital, she was in Investor Relations at Vista Equity Partners, where she focused primarily on the firm’s private equity funds. Ms. Stewart has also held roles in Investor Relations and Marketing at Long Pond Capital, a long/short hedge fund and in Business Development at AQR Capital Management, a quant hedge fund. She started her career in the Analyst program at Morgan Stanley in Fixed Income Sales & Trading.

Ms. Stewart graduated from Columbia University, where she majored in Mathematics & Statistics, and minored in Philosophy.

Scott Richter

Managing Director – Investor Relations

Scott Richter is a Managing Director of Investor Relations at A&M Capital. Since 1997, Mr. Richter has held senior private equity marketing positions and been responsible for all aspects of marketing private equity partnerships to institutional investors including public and corporate pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, foundations & endowments, fund of funds, family offices and high net-worth individuals. During this time, Mr. Richter’s senior leadership roles were with Ashton Stewart & Co, Barclays, Lehman Brother / Neuberger Berman, Atlantic-Pacific Capital, Bear Stearns, J.P. Morgan, PaineWebber and BancBoston Robertson Stephens. Prior to marketing private equity partnerships, Mr. Richter was with Pacific Corporate Group (1994 to 1997), a leading private equity consultant, where he was responsible for direct, co-investments and limited partnership investing. He was the lead consultant on the California Public Employees’ Retirement System account. Mr. Richter was also a corporate banking officer at Bank of Nova Scotia and began his career as a consultant/auditor at Ernst & Young.

Mr. Richter is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds an MBA, double major in Finance and International Business, from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science and Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from St. Mary’s College of California.

Dana Parelli

Associate – Investor Relations

Dana Parelli is an Associate of A&M Capital Partners.

Prior to joining A&M Capital in 2018, Ms. Parelli worked as an Associate Media Director for the National Broadcast team at Carat, USA – a global media and marketing agency. While at Carat, she was responsible for negotiating and managing all national video investments for Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. She also played a key role in developing the strategic direction for Pfizer Consumer’s media campaign across digital and linear TV.

Ms. Parelli graduated from New York State University at Albany with a BS in Communications.
